25-Year Retrospective on the Geosynthetic Industry and Glimpses into the Future

For this, our 25th conference, we felt it to be an excellent time to reflect back on where the industry has been and even possibly capture some potential glimpses into the future. This two ½-day conference (April 2-3, 2012), will explore these “doings” in the context of four distinct sessions. They are as follows:

Session 1 – Geosynthetic Structure: with individual presentations on resins, addiequipment, specifications, testing, design and installation.

Session 2 – Geosynthetic Materials: with individual presentations on geosynthetic reinforcement, geotextile filters, geomembranes, geonets/geocomposites, geosynthetic clay liners and geofoam.

Session 3 – Geosynthetic Systems: with individual presentations on walls and slopes, liner systems, waterproofing systems, heap leach mining, pavements and erosion control.

Session 4 – Geosynthetic Organizations: with individual presentations on IFAI/GMA, IGS, Federal Agencies, ASTM, Geosynthetic Magazine and GSI.
